European and Asian culinary influence Australian cuisine. All kinds of food can be found especially in big cities like Sydney or Melbourne. Australian restaurants are using mostly national products.

A variety of meat and seafood makes Down Under cuisine so special.
If you are a food lover you will find delicious dishes from all around the world at just one place. Chinese sweet and sour pork, Korean “kimchi”, Indian “butter chicken”, Polish “pierogi” and Brazilian “feijoada” are just few examples of different dishes that can be easily found in Australian restaurants.

The range of prices is very wide. In Sydney for example, lunch at the restaurant costs around 30 dollars but you can eat very good meal in a food court for up to 10 dollars.

Very interesting way of making eating out less expensive is BYO (Bring Your Own). It simply means that you can bring to the restaurant your own alcohol. Always confirm if the restaurant has a BYO service.

Australians loves beer, and there are thousands of different brands. Australia also produces one of the best wines in the world. Tropical cocktails, vodka and whiskey are very popular at pubs and nightclubs.
