Cambridge Certificates courses in Australia
CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATES
These tests are well known and widely recognised tests. There are four Cambridge certificates on four levels of language proficiency.
PET Preliminary English is an intermediate level exam which recognises your ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communication.
FCE First Certificate in English it is an academic test, very popular in South America and Europe. It is a very good course for those interested in developing their conversational skills at a higher level (higher that in General English) and in understanding the language at a higher level as well. It focuses on all the four necessary skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

CAE Certificate In Advanced English is an advanced exam which recognises students ability to communicate with confidence in English and deal with most aspects of everyday life.
CPE Certificate of Proficiency in English is Cambridge ESOL's most advanced exam. It is aimed at people who use English for professional or study purposes and their knowledge of English is close to native speakers.
In order to be admitted to one of Cambridge Certificate courses you need to pass an appropriate exam at a school of your choice. Be aware that due to exam dates scheduled by University of Cambridge ESOL Examination, courses start 4 times a year, in some schools 3 times only. Average course duration is 10-12 weeks.
