Higher education in Australia is administrated by Department of Education, Employment Workplace Relationship. All degrees, from Bachelor to Doctoral, are regulated and follow standards of Australian Qualifications Framework, which allows to maintain the highest quality of education in Australia.
You can choose out of following degrees offered by Higher education providers in Australia:
BACHELOR: undergraduate, lowest and first level of degree offered by Australian higher education providers, usually takes 3-4 years to finish, requires High School Diploma or Certificate and IELTS to be accepted, can be awarded with Honors if additional year of study taken.
CERTIFICATE or DIPLOMA: postgraduate, second level of degree offered by Australian Higher Education providers, usually takes 0.5 to 1 year to finish, requires Bachelor degree and IELTS(if Bachelor is not from Australia) to be accepted.
MASTER: postgraduate, second level of degree
offered by Australian Higher Education providers, usually takes 1 to 2 years to finish, requires Bachelor degree and IELTS(if Bachelor is not from Australia) to be accepted, can be done by coursework, research (thesis) and professional (work project).
DOCTORATE: highest level of degree deliver by Australian University, usually takes 3-6 years to finish, requires Bachelor of Honors or Master degree and IELTS(if Bachelor or Master is not from Australia) can be done by research, publication or professional.
